The 'new' version is more of the same. The negative impact on the residents of this part of town will be huge! However, if this proposed development is approved, the traffic problems will affect the entire community. There are several areas in town that are better suited for a development like this.

Yes, I agree. Traffic, noise, smell, and rodents. Not good. I feel very bad for those who will live the closest. Especially traffic. This is why I don't even attempt Starbucks on that corner area. Everyone cuts though by Nabby's just to get around that intersection. I had a car almost hit me as I was turning left and he wanted to beat me to it, so he came from behind me and cut into my turn and also turned left. Traffic will get worse. It will make many stay away rather than visit downtown. Come on Plainfield, try something unique !!!!! I noticed my other comments went away..... Trying to hide something planning committee???? Get something unique.... Make business' put better brick work on the buildings... So boring... Even Shorewood has better looking brick facing on the plazas they build. It's a one time deal. Do it RIGHT !!!! Dunkin Donuts is not what we need.

Jill - Thank you for comment. You mentioned that your, ". . . other comments went away . . .". Are you referring to the ones that you posted in response to the developer's earlier version of the proposal, such as the one found here (scroll down to see your input [7th]): http://www.civicartworks.com/projects/a-vision-for-division/ideas/the-dunkin-donut-project-site-plan-w-aerial-image-version-1

If this is not the case let us know. We want everyone to be heard and if something happened to an earlier comment of yours and it cannot be seen by others we will work to correct the problem. Thanks!
