CTA route J14 is technically a Bus Rapid Transit Route. It should be better utilized with new station stops on storage space on or adjacent land to Lake Shore Drive with new pedestrian infrastructure. Potential Stops could include the existing 11th St/Museum Campus, South of McFetridge (Possible with minor realignments), 18th Street, and the existing McCormick Place LSD Overpass. Retrofits if needed can be engineered.

I'd take that a step further and allow all the southbound express buses to use the busway.

A bus that carries 100 people should get the same road space as 100 cars. If the bus can carry 5,000 people a day, it deserves it's own HOV lane, shared with just taxis and cars with two or more passengers.
