I believe any work that can be done in the downtown core of the city to make attractive to any passerby also makes it attractive to potential new business and and subsequently new homeowners. Peoria should focus on downtown with an eye to the future while also looking at the past for inspiration. Personally I’d love to see the electric streetcars return as well if only in the downtown core area.
