Ever been stuck in gridlock on a bus on Michigan Avenue? By moving some of the southbound Michigan Avenue buses to Wabash Avenue, the buses could travel through less traffic and bring more people to Wabash.

Excellent idea.. I would go further and suggest Wabash through the loop be converted to two way bus only thoroughfare. This would give Michigan Ave some relief from the noise pollution the bus traffic creates and relieve congestion. Michigan Avenue is a big deal for Chicago but it's just a cluttered mess of buses, cabs and cars honking their horns at each other. Plus the mass of pedestrians on Michigan just creates delays for buses along that route.

But Michigan Avenue is THE street. Surely it deserves some public transportation.
