Add bicycle lanes

Glen Ellyn, IL
Add bicycle lanes
Description:

Create an east-west route through downtown and elsewhere.

Ginger Wheeler Glen Ellyn, IL

Making downtown Glen Ellyn more bicycle friendly with designated bike lanes will encourage Ill Prairie Path riders to stop and linger in addition to allow locals an easy fast and healthy was to shop (without having to park their car!)

Andrew Wingerter Glen Ellyn, IL

To make the prairie path more accessible to families north and west of the tracks, I would like to see bike lanes on Pennsylvania from Prospect to the Wheaton border or at least Kenilworth. This would keep bikes off the narrow sidewalks and divided from the cars zipping by on Pennsylvania

Susannah Ball Glen Ellyn, IL

I totally support improving the bike lanes on the GLen Ellyn part of pennsylvania. That is a hugely trafficked street for runners and bikers year round, especially in winter when the prarie path is all ice. The sidewalks are very uneven and bad along pennsylvania which drives runners into the street.

Mark MacKenzie Glen Ellyn, IL

We're leaving out a key piece of infrastructure in our town. It not only offers safer routes and access but will allow families and other types of riders to go farther and use more outlets of access. Awareness and safety should be always at the forefront of development and this is long overdue from a liability standpoint.

To create a North/south bikeway in our town, I suggest using half of Forst as a bikeway and turning Forest one way (north from Crescent to North Ave; southbound Duane to Roosevelt)
