Minimize the visual presence of residential garages

Antioch, IL
Minimize the visual presence of residential garages
Description:

Attached garages that are entered from the side of the house or detached garages that are set back from the front of the house can minimize or eliminate the impact of a garage-dominated front facade. Reducing the visibility of the garage can improve the curb appeal of an individual home while reducing the visibility of the garages on multiple houses can add value and create a sense of place along an entire street.

Lot sizes determine garage placement.

I don’t personally feel that this needs to be regulated, unless there are certain historical districts in the Village where the master plan is guiding you to do it
