I am a property owner in the Riverfront District and operate a business in the Riverfront District located on Water Street.
I work with PACE and would love to have this space available to improve the events on the riverfront... esp the Taste of Peoria.
As an owner of property along the riverfront very near this site, I look forward to this becoming a much more aesthetically pleasing and usable space.
Looks like a cool space that would be well utilized and survive occasional flooding.
The Riverfront Market draws 4000 people many Summer Saturday's. It needs electrical and hard surface infrastructure to be success and grow not just a grass field.
Very flexible, multi function space. Will look great from the bridge. Perfect for the Saturday morning Farmers Market and festival events. Place a tent on the heated paver area and winter events may finally become a reality on the Riverfront.
As a property owner just south of this site I really like the idea of a multi use design that can be utilized year round for a variety of purposes including the summer riverfront market. I think this concept by the Peoria Riverfront Association can accomplish that.
