I appreciate that the village has listened to us. From this you have revised the architecture of this building. It is an improvement.

I also appreciate that the village has reached out to the residence for input. However I do not believe that the village needs another Dunkin' Donuts with so many within a short distance. I don't see how this development matches the look and feel of the downtown Plainfield business district.

It would be very disappointing if this plan and another Dunkin' Donuts were approved for this site.

The village did not want any of the prior input. It was repeatedly stated that this is NOT the right location for this type of business. A residential neighborhood is not the place for a busy drive through.

Architecture should not be our greatest concern. The safety of our residents and our children should be!!!We are already “coexisting” with a number of food establishments and feel there is no need to bring in one with some much negative impact to this particular area. Decisions to allow this Dunkin Donuts will, without a doubt reduce the incentive to purchase and reside on this side of the downtown area. Home sales will plummet further and some could potentially lose their home due to lack of others wanting to invest in this area!
