This is has two changes that go hand in hand and need to be changed. I believe the first step is education. Education not only for the residents, but almost more importantly, our first responders.
In addition to providing people with ACCURATE, informative knowledge, the town needs to provide more resources and support for those suffering from this illness, as well as there families. This is a community. We all need to coexist and wouldn't it be a little more pleasant if we can do that with understanding and empathy instead of judgement.
