The current splash-pad in front of the Gateway Building is over-crowded. A new larger splash pad would bring more people together on hot summer days, would be a beautiful landmark with taller streams of water with a light show on summer nights and can be iced over for a beautiful ice-skating rink in the winter. Temporary vendors can have space around it for cold treats in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter.
