My idea is a community garden on the boulevard and a sheltered area for vendors to have a farmers market. It would bring revenue to our community and give entrepreneurs from all over Chicago a place to sell their products. The garden would also be providing jobs to teens working through One Summer Chicago. Finally, the garden would be a way for the community to help itself; supplying food to low income families or the homeless and giving a portion of our proceeds to community projects.
