We want to get people out to the historic boulevards on a self-guided historical/architectural tour. A signed tour will help to educate the members of our community about our neighborhood. Signs explaining specific sites, their historical significance and other interesting facts will increase awareness about our neighborhood’s past, present and future, and create an informed community with a sense of place. Starting in Humboldt Park and ending in Logan Square, signs will direct participants to the next site.
Site suggestions welcome!

Creating a sense of community and showing the beauty of Logan Square is so important! This would be awesome!
UPDATE - we have received some input via email from our website that we would like to post here:
"The walking historic tour is a wonderful idea. Maybe you can find a way to develop an app where people can walk around and through the use of their location they can read about the neighborhoods, houses, and/or historic landmarks"
Logan Square Preservation has also suggested that a smartphone app might be more feasible than permanent signs.

I love that this integrates learning into a random person's walk!
