A graphic identifier would help situate Columbus among the rest of the mass-transit cities, and it would also give it's residents/neighborhoods another level of pride and sense of place. ("where do you live?" "i'm three stops off the blue line from union station")...
Michael Tyznik's study on potential Columbus transit lines is fantastic. Let's hope this study and graphic design project is a starting point for something the city can push for.

The Columbus (COTA) system is plagued with poor mapping/branded routes/awareness. I like this idea. I've been to cities with worse bus systems then Columbus, but they had better mapping, so I knew where I would end up --( Sydney, Australia)
