There is not a single fitness park in the State of Illinois south of Aurora. Go to Chicago, Milwaukee, St Louis, or any other city center or its suburbs and fitness parks are everywhere. The "fitness" park at Glen Oak is a joke. A fitness park, especially along the river, could be a huge attraction for people across the state. If there is enough equipment it could even be used to host bar fitness competitions
PS: whoever installed the parallel bars at the park on McClure near Knoxville ought to be kept away from this project
