I'm sure alot of our citizens agree..there's way too many parking lots..not enough buildings to support new residents and businesses. With tech startups and corporations..keep in mind, new construction will be needed in the foreseeable future. City council leaders should pass a mandate that require companys to include underground and/or parking decks when constructing buildings. Downtown is in the business of generating revenue..which in turn, helps pay for maintaining infrastructure, landscaping and other city services.

During his presentation to City Council on Tuesday (12/13/16) consultant Joe Minicozzi of Urban3 LLC stated the following: "You have a lot of parking in Downtown Peoria.
