Eliminating Manganese Soil Contamination

Chicago, IL
Eliminating Manganese Soil Contamination
Description:

Following articles from the Chicago Tribune, there is a dangerously high number of manganese in our soil because of a surrounding metal, shipping and handling company called S. H. Bell. Do to the processing of metals, our soil gets affected due to the over excess of harmful metals in the area. These levels exceed the EPA’s safety limit, which is concerning for the health of our community. This includes issues with the nervous system and learning difficulties.
