I think Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has the perfect design for a riverfront park that will attract visitors all year round. There is plenty of visual interest along with space to relax. There is a skating rink that can be used all seasons and plenty of recreational activities to keep people's interest. It would be smart to base the design of our riverfront park off of one that already works because they have already done the hard work and would possibly have ideas on how to avoid problems. I want this riverfront in our town!

I agree that we should look to other cities with already successful and attractive riverfront parks and recreation areas. We could combine inspiration from several different sources while making it unique to Peoria's rich history and landscape.
