A survey of Tri-County residents revealed a perception that parking is the most important downtown problem, the reality is that there are a very large number of parking spaces, both public & private, located in both structured & surface parking lots. The perception of a parking problem has to do more with the allocation and management of parking than it has to do with sheer numbers of available spaces. The available parking is either not perceived as conveniently located, or it may actually not be known or accessible to the public.
