Depends on what it is, how much is getting done, how its being coordinated and scheduled; and what other upgrades maintenance could be performed while construction is happening for things like utilities etc.
I hope this is phased with consideration to the Frida Kahlo Exhibition coming to Glen Ellyn in the summer of 2020. Over 150,000 visitors are predicted. Is there a way to have accessibility to the train station and downtown restaurants and businesses at this time when the central business district can attract these visitors?

I believe that there needs to be updates in the downtown business district in order to meet the needs of the customers and business owners. However, I'm not sure the village board is aware of an exhibit coming to the College of DuPage that has the potential to bring in a lot of people from all over. Should the downtown area be under construction, the college will be forced to use either the Wheaton or Lombard train stations instead, which will take potential revenue from local businesses. If it can be done in phases, I feel that is the less painful way of going about the projects.
