Shannon Phillips

As the Teacher Programs Coordinator at the Chicago Academy of Sciences/Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum I work with Chicagoland teachers and students. I support teachers in becoming more comfortable with inquiry-based learning and best practices in science education including Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). I also enjoy working directly with students using place-based lessons. Sometimes, I even use snakes, turtles, or bugs to teach!
