Yes, this could also be implemented into extending water street through the warehouse district to enhance the riverfront with new development to compliment the area..also, help increase foot traffic to give it more purpose for outdoor activties.
This is a great idea! This will invite people to stay or visit Peoria. A lot of young people I know are so bored here that they just want to leave. The city government needs to do a lot of effort to make this city beautiful, inviting and a safer place to live.
A thriving downtown and riverfront is another way for employers to attract and retain a vibrant workforce!
